Security
Careful by design, because it can touch your server
A risk tool that can act on MT5 has to be harder to misuse than the problem it solves. These are the controls built into AXSentinel today.
01
Access to your MT5 server
Read-only first
A read-only manager login is enough for exposure, scoring, rules, alerts and reports. Actions are only possible if you grant dealer rights.
Dedicated manager login
We recommend a manager account used only by AXSentinel and scoped to the groups you want covered, so it can be revoked on its own.
IP allow-listing
The hosted connector uses fixed egress IPs. Allow-list them on your server so the login is useless from anywhere else.
Encrypted credentials
Manager credentials are encrypted before they are stored and are used only by the connector — never displayed back in the interface.
02
Control over what it does
Maker-checker
Actions in needs-approval mode require a second user. The proposer cannot approve their own action.
Kill switch
One switch halts every automated action and hedge across the account, immediately.
Dry-run and rate limits
Run rules in dry-run to see what they would have done. Rate limits cap how many actions any rule can take.
Role-based access
Owner, admin, dealer, risk and viewer roles, with multi-tenant separation between brokers.
03
Proof of what happened
Immutable audit trail
Every alert, case note, approval, rejection and action is recorded with who, when and why, and cannot be edited.
Exports
Audit and case history export to CSV, Excel and PDF for your own compliance file.
